"We have been using Active Physics here in Philadelphia for over three years now, and I've seen that it works. Teachers find the materials easy to use and even more importantly, students enjoy the program and they are really learning science. I find the whole approach is successful. Active Physics really is what it says it is. When we can provide materials that asks students to delve in deeper - materials in which they understand the reasons they are looking into things - then we have succeeded in reaching them. Also, Active Physics is in alignment with the Philadelphia Curriculum Frameworks. Our hope is that soon all high school students in the Philadelphia area will be taking physics in the 9th grade and the Active Physics materials are the best out there for that purpose."
