BioComm™: Biology in a Community Context

BioCommBioComm is a National Science Foundation full-year Biology course covering all core topics

BioComm covers far more than biology. It teaches how biology connects with Technology, Society, the Environment and the student.
In each of the eight thought-provoking units, a real-world issue is presented. Students conduct Guided Inquiries and Extended Inquiries. From their results, students interpret the information and apply their knowledge to the issues. Students will be working just like scientists and policy makers!
