Investigating Earth Systems: Teacher's Edition

The American Geological Institute developed the Teacher Edition after years of pilot-testing and field-testing — getting as much feedback as possible from the teachers who were actually using the program in the classroom. The Teacher Editions in IES provide the Background Information on the concepts, assessment tools, and strategies for implementing inquiry and a system-based approach into your classroom. It also includes a correlation to the National Science Education Standards and correlations to software that can be used in conjunction with IES to enhance student learning.
