Cheryl Dodes Intermediate School 73 New York City, NY "I am really enjoying doing the field test for Investigating Earth Systems. The kids worked in groups of 4 on the project and the end product for each child was an individual poster. "The kids really had a ball with this! Several children were so caught up in the assignment, that their interest spilled over into their lives. Several have taken trips to the Museum of Natural History, and one boy brought in a bag of fossiliferous rocks he collected in upstate NY. Kids were allowed to use our classroom computers for their research and for word processing. "All in all, the kids can't wait to begin the next module and neither can I!" |
