MATH Connections shows students mathematics as a vital, powerful, relevant, flexible tool for interacting with their world in many ways and at many levels, from the commonplace settings of everyday life and work to the frontiers of science, technology, and human understanding. Starting with commonplace ideas in real world settings, MATH Connections investigates a wide range of sophisticated mathematical topics in a student friendly way. Throughout the program, students learn how to use the complementary mechanisms of electronic technology and logical reasoning to find and explain answers, to shape and defend their opinions, to pose and explore new questions. Here is a brief overview of each of the six half-year textbooks of the MATH Connections series.
