Professional Development
Regional and Leadership Institutes
It's About Time understands that teachers need preparation and support when introduced to a new curriculum and pedagogy. To ensure a smooth transition into our Active Learning System, our Professional Development Department offers a wide-range of workshop sessions to help support the implementations of our curricula. These sessions combine the right blend of information background, modeling and hands-on learning. All workshops are conducted by a team of workshop consultants and leading educators who have been teaching in an Active Learning classroom. They know what teachers expect and what teachers should be prepared for in the classroom. They will demonstrate the power of students asking the questions - discovering the answers, and the increased achievement of all students actively learning.
