That's why we're committed to a strong Professional Development Program.

When we first decided to publish Standards-based National Science Foundation funded programs we understood it meant change. the way students learn... and the way teachers teach.

We believe that you cannot present new standards for teachers to follow, create content to address them, and then say: "Here! Teach!". With that understanding in mind, we created a Professional Development division that will guide you from start to success, before classes begin, in the classroom, and on the internet. You will be able to ask teachers like yourself questions and get answers!

What makes our Professional Development successful?
It combines just the right blend of information, background, modeling and hands-on learning. Our team of workshop leaders and educators have been teaching in an Active Learning classroom. They know what teachers expect and what teachers should be prepared for in the classroom. They will demonstrate the power of students asking the questions — discovering the answers, and the increased achievement of all students.
